Call Upon God

Call Upon GodScore 99%Score 99%

What confidence do I have
To approach the holy of holies?
Can I disdain Christ, yet call upon God?
Shall I be a master of myself
Yet behold the face of God?
Far be it so, for my confidence lies in Christ
And His intercession for me.

I will love Jesus everyday
As I seek the face of God
My eyes will be set upon the Cross
And the covenant it wrought for me

Consider Jabez, a man honorable
Who saw God and knew he had a right.
A right and a responsibility to call upon Him
A call to restore the abundant life promised

Against all odds,
He called forth the blessing of God
The enlargement of his coasts
The dwellings of light that routs evil…

And God faithfully granted him his request
For His thoughts toward us are of peace and goodness
The dwellings of His glory
In His heavenly places
The blessings of the Father flows upon us through Christ
It’s no wonder we are special
Chosen and set apart before the Seen came to being

Called as a priest,
To be holy and without blame
Serving the offerings of His righteousness
And Love

This is our purpose
This is our calling,
That we might be Christ
Just as Christ is!
